A unique & exclusive dedication
Acre Groves are our most exclusive dedications as we have to restrict the number of benches & posts in order to leave our woods as natural as possible.
- An Acre Grove with bench offers the opportunity to leave your personal tribute to a loved one in a glorious acre of woodland for donations in the region of £3,000.
- We will place a commemorative bench, with a plaque etched with your own message of dedication, in an acre of protected living woodland.
- We will offer you a choice of 3 bench designs*.
- An acre (0.4 hectare) is about the size of a small football pitch.
- Each wood is unique & the number of trees will vary from wood to wood and from young woodland to ancient forest. Typically, an acre will contain about 100 mature trees.
- Trees and woodland are dedicated once and once only.
You will receive for your dedication:
- An individually crafted bench with personalised plaque near or in your dedicated acre. Benches are made by expert craftsmen from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)** certified oak hardwood - which have a natural resistance to decay
- a certificate of dedication
- a map outlining your dedicated acre grove and showing your bench location
- information about your chosen wood's history and wildlife
- a picture of your chosen wood *
- The knowledge that you have helped a piece of living woodland to survive
Please note - crafting your bench & plaque takes time & installation is subject to numerous factors. Therefore please allow 15 weeks from receipt of your application before expecting the post to be on-site. Each fulfillment pack is unique, with specially created maps, information sheets and pictures. We will make every endeavour to supply your fulfillment pack prior to the bench being installed.
