Woodland dedication is a truly original & caring gift, forging a bond; exclusively & forever with a precious part of our natural heritage.
- For donations in the region of £1000 we can look after an acre of woodland in perpetuity.
- Each wood is unique & the number of trees will vary from wood to wood and from young woodland to ancient forest. Typically, an acre will contain about 100 mature trees.
- An acre (0.4 hectare) is about the size of a small football pitch.
- Trees and woodland are dedicated once and once only.
- To keep the wood as natural as possible acre dedications are not marked on the ground.
You will receive for your dedication:
- a certificate of dedication
- a map with your acre outlined
- an information sheet about your chosen wood's history and wildlife
- a picture of your chosen wood *
- The knowledge that you have helped a precious piece of living woodland to survive
Please note - each fulfilment pack is unique, with specially created maps, information sheets and pictures. Please allow 5 weeks from receipt of your application before expecting delivery.
